When Xandi and Bernd started to fly their first acro manouvers in 1999, acro was a quite new theme for the paraglidingscene. A lot of pilots gave them the feeling, of being diffrent. So they had the feeling, of being "against the grain". They used this "speech" as a symbol for their club. Today "ATG" is a well known mark all around the world, and many people want to be part of it.
Als Xandi und Bernd 1999 ihr ersten Acro-Manöver übten, gaben ihnen die Leute das Gefühl anders zu sein. Die beiden mußten gegen den Strom schwimmen, was übersetzt "against the grain" bedeutet. Sie nahmen diese Schrift als Symbol für ihren Club. Heute ist "ATG" eine weltweit bekannte Marke und viele Leute möchten dazugehören.
